| Takeshima,
a symbol of Gamagori City, is an island connected to the
land by a 387m-long bridge. People may stroll around the
island. The bridge is lit up in the evening to show its
beautiful outline. The scenery of Takeshima has been loved
by many literary men since old times and has been picked
up by many novels. It is "Memorial building of literature
by the sea" that presents such a historical value of
literature in a retro building at that time. Takeshima Aquarium
where a sea lion show is presented is located nearby. |
