| Arimatsu Shibori or tie-dyeing
has been inherited in the old towns since the Edo age for about 400years ago.
This hall was opened in March 1984 to preserve and exhibit the techniques and
various kinds of materials used for tie-dyeing. A variety of Shibori goods are
sold and you can enjoy tie-dyeing demonstration as well as a movie related to
Shibori. |
