| The "Garden" with
its rich greens is located an easy 15 minutes walk from
JR Nagoya Station. It is consisted of three zones of "Culture
Zone," "Historical Zone" and "Commercial Zone," and you
can enjoy seeing how high grade ceramics are manufactured. You
can also try your hand at painting ceramics at the Craft
Center and see rare ceramic dish plates called "Old Noritake" made
in the early age of Noritake Company exhibited at the Noritake
Museum. The first plant which was constructed in 1904
from red bricks symbolizes the history of western dish plates
in Japan. Even if you have no interest in ceramics,
you can also enjoy shopping at an outlet shop, dining at
a restaurant and walking around the Fountain Plaza and the
Chimney Plaza. |
