| Toyohashi
City which is located at exactly the middle between Tokyo
and Osaka is a mild city with population of about 380,000.The
city spreads along the fresh and clear river of Toyogawa,
and it shows a harmony of rich nature and industries as
it is backed up by the Akaishi mountains dominated by Mt.
Ishimaki and it has the No.1 port for export and import
of automobiles in Japan as well as a place for the loggerhead
turtle to lay eggs.Toyohashi was nominated
as one of the core cities by the Japanese government in
1999 to be developed as a core city located in the eastern
part of Aichi Prefecture.It has a variety
of interesting features that may not be seen in other districts
such as diversified festivals and traditional Mikawa fireworks
as well as trams used as public transport by local citizens.It
also boasts it has the biggest gross agriculture production
