is a village located about 10km from the city center
along route 310 in a mountainous area, and is known as the
place where the Matsudaira family, founders of the Tokugawa
Shogun family originated. "Matsudaira Toshogu Shrine" is
a national historical site, " Kogetsuin Temple" and "Ruins
of Matsudaira Castle " are located in the same area
consisting making up Matsudairago Park. The public can enjoy
strolling the park taking in the beautiful scenery and rich
nature of flowers and plants in season.Groups of local people
conduct various events and voluntary sightseeing guides. |
